“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we’ll ever do” Brene Brown
Tired of feeling tense, anxious, disconnected, wondering if you can really trust the people in your life? Like you just can’t let your guard down?
Of feeling desperate, frantic, always on edge, and sometimes consumed with doubt that things will ever be any different?
Of feeling lost, of the sleepless nights, of wondering what on Earth is wrong with you and why you can’t just get over it or just make all of this stop?
Experiencing trauma can lead to:
being afraid to speak up, preoccupied with making others feel at ease, walking on eggshells, preoccupied with staying safe, always monitoring your surroundings, feeling volatile and emotionally raw at times
other times feeling empty, numb, or disconnected, cycling through resentment, blame, and guilt for not being able to fix or stop this pattern, feeling helpless, hopeless, or exhausted
Difficult, dysfunctional, or narcissistic relationships can also become traumatic:
bullying or intimidation, particularly when a power dynamic is involved, sexual harassment, violence, coercion, or other unwanted sexual contact, all forms of abandonment, neglect, abuse, domestic violence, or gaslighting in close, ongoing relationships, discrimination, marginalization, or oppression on a, systemic or individualistic level

Why Trauma Therapy With me is Different
My therapeutic approach is dedicated to dismantling the seemingly rational self-doubt that causes conflict between what you’re thinking and your emotions. Instead, you’ll feel more aligned and finally begin genuinely believing the things you actually know to be true instead of those screaming doubts.
Starting by understanding as much of you as possible, this helps me maintain a space where you’re able to build and sustain a mind-body connection which serves as a new foundation for building your sense of trust, reliability, security, and stability with yourself and others for this process and beyond.
By integrating mindfulness, somatic techniques, and brainspotting with the things you’re already doing to help you stay afloat, you'll tap into your innate capacity for healing from these events (which you’ve been doing all along) and release all the ways these events have held you back from truly living. You’ll finally be able to identify which parts of your responses are coming from the past, which parts are coming from your present self, and which parts are the ones you want to continue to nurture and carry with you into this next chapter.
With years of intense, highly focused, hands-on specialized training in various settings (drug treatment centers, juvenile treatment center, outpatient community mental health, college counseling facility), completion of Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, and Brainspotting phase I and II, my expertise offers relief so you can trust that I’m equipped to provide the support and guidance you need throughout your healing journey.
